Karla Ferrada 

Hello!  My name is Karla and I’m a Registered Social Worker.

 

I have a BA in Criminal Justice which has allowed me to work with those struggling with homelessness and addictions for three years. Last year I received my Bachelors of Social Work and gained experience in the medical field. I now spend my time between a hospital Emergency Department and a Personal Care Home supporting the geriatric population.

 

I always knew I wanted to help others, and working with the residents at the home has shown me how important overall wellness really is. The most crucial aspect of being a social worker is problem solving, and  my mission is to support those to achieve their goals!
